Flight by Nothing

Originating in Dallas, indie group Flight by Nothing made their way to San Marcos in 2020 and have made their mark as a prominent and well known band. Their sound pulls elements from many genre including pop, rock, electronic, and folk. They are an extremely versatile group that has played countless shows in the area and around the country. If you like Arctic Monkeys, Dayglow, or Declan McKenna, these five best friends (and roommates!) are likely cooking up something you'd enjoy - check them out here!

Soho Holiday

Soho Holiday is a San Marcos indie-rock group that kicked off their career just about a year ago in 2022. The five-piece, consisting of members Joe Powell (vocals), Hayden Denby (guitar), Hudson Devlin (drums), Aidan Guzman (bass), and Jonathan Andrew (lead guitar), have two studio releases that were released earlier this year. The group’s overall sound is similar to the groups Miniature Tigers, Three Legged Dog, and Under High Street. The instrumentals have hints of The Wombats and sound like a nice long drive with the windows rolled down alongside a beach, adding to the holiday element and allowing the songs to live up to their stage name. Half Dream

Half Dream is a dream rock group who plays often in San Marcos. They made their way around the states this past August and September, making this their first nationwide tour - a milestone that was long in the waits for band members. Their sound is very eceltic, pulling elements from shoegaze, pop, and electronic. Their visual style is very appealing as well, which can be seen in their stage presence and music videos.
